On 6 October 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00 CEST, the project will host an online workshop on building and road construction and maintenance.
Construction sites are already changing: autonomous robots handle demanding tasks, drones boost operational capacity, and exoskeletons with wearable sensors protect workers and reduce strain.
The first workshop session, organised by project partner EBC, will explore how these technologies improve project planning, delivery, and maintenance, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and worker well-being.
Tests in Spain, Finland, and Italy have already provided valuable insights. Sector experts will share these lessons and present concrete examples of safer, more efficient, and human-centric practices.
The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) will also take part in the event, which will feature an interactive exchange with Q&A, feedback, and a short survey on gender inclusion and workplace well-being.
